About Midnight Sun Muzzle Loaders and Our Members

Midnight Sun Muzzle Loaders of Fairbanks, Alaska is the northernmost muzzleloader and black powder shooting club in North America and perhaps even the world.   Our members enjoy shooting a wide range of muzzleloaders and black powder cartridge firearms, even muzzleloader cannons.  Some of our members are highly talented gun-builders, as well as shooters. Our group has a diverse range of shooting interests and levels of skill but all are dedicated to making muzzleloader shooting a safe and enjoyable pastime.

During the warmer months we conduct two shooting matches each month, on Saturday morning.  During winter, when we no longer have access to our own outdoor shooting range we hone our skills with indoor .22 rimfire rifle and pistol shoots at a private range located near North Pole and owned by our club secretary.  For more information about our meeting and shoot schedules please click here.
